With the promotion of new Internet technology and the new application of old technology, Internet has entered the era of WEB2.0 from WEB1.0 era. WEB2.0 is neither a simple technology nor a plan to solve problem, it is a set of enforceable idea system, practicing the ideal of network socializing and individuality. It enables Internet users to be changed from information recipients to information creators and disseminators, from recipients to main body, from individual to community, forms a new phenomenon of users-centric, open, participatory, interactive, sharing Internet. In the library development, the introduction of WEB2.0 various new concepts and new technologies can promote library services innovation, and allows a user to customize the on-demand informationservices, put the library's service principle -"users first," "reader-oriented" intopractice . The thesis analyzes the principle of main technology -Blog, Tag, RSS, Wiki and their application in library , based on exposition on the creation, development, definitions, characteristics, advanTages of WEB2.0 . In the thesis, the author also discusses the application of WEB 2.0's technology and concept in OPAC, subject-oriented information portals and Library Integrated System, also expounded on the development and prospect of library information service under the WEB2.0 environment. Through the research, the author proposes some views and suggestions on the WEB 2.0's application in library , with the hope of providing inspiration and reference for the library's construction and development in the future .
