Lib2.0 is the application of Web2.0 in library. Web2.0 brings new service concepts and solutions of information service, also brings the opportunities and challenges for university library. This thesis expounded the concept of Web2.0, scribed its main theories as The Long tail, Six Degrees of separation, etc., and introduced the application of Web2.0 in library information service. We put forward that the traditional service idea, technical methods, theoretical guidance and working method of library will encounter challenges and disruptive change in Lib2.0 era. Web2.0 is making enormous influence on library's information service of university library. The technology of Web2.0 as Blog, RSS, Wiki, Tag, SNS, IM was described one after one in the paper. After analyzing the result of 300 teachers' and students' questionnaire investigation in China University of Petroleum, the thesis studied the deferent user's cognitive degree to Web2.0 and Lib2.0 especial their needing for information service, and made the following conclusion: many users don't well understand the concept of Web2.0 especial Lib2.0, when most users show strong interest in Blog, IM, SNS, there are great gap between demand of user and information service of university library, and using idea and technology of Web2.0 that are able to take effective strategies to improve quality of the information service of university library. Based on the investigation , this paper put forward the improving measures which mainly including that strengthen personalized and interactivity of information services, increase the digital reference service means and innovative digital reference service way, strengthen the subject librarian management, improve service quality, establishing reader incentive mechanism, user training , promptly service effect evaluation and feedback, strengthen librarians training, improve librarian's professional quality and skill. This thesis first proposed the automatic information service delivery system With RSS, in order to providing a theoretical guidance and scientific basis.
