Study Based On Web2.0 University Library Information Service

The library information service will be influenced by every single information technology renovation. The emergence of Web 2.0 has changed the traditional internet system, and the users have become dominators in internet world. Under this environment, how to rely on concepts of Web 2.0 to promote information services in libraries become the hot division in library and information science domain. This paper aimed at the function of academic library and the characteristics of users, according to current application status of information services based on Web 2.0 in academic libraries, put forward expanding strategies on information service system, such as bringing Witkey mode in reference and consultation service; setting up prompting mechanism to promote users to create content; integrating Web 2.0 services with users'curriculums to enhance both resources utilization ratio and users learning efficiency; constructing academic library virtual community to satisfy users'ego value implement. Furthermore, this paper is trying to build Web 2.0 services with open source software, and to construct a network platform for information services based on Web 2.0 in academic library.
