Reserch And Realization Of Embedded Industry Network Controller Based On ARM And LINUX

With the development of computer, as well as communication and control technology, the traditional industry control field is going through an unprecedented change, developing towards networking. But many traditional industry equipments constitute lightweight networks based on correspondence connection such as the RS-485, RS-232, CAN-BUS.Those equipments cannot connect with the Internet/Intranet directly. In order to meet the industry control needs in future this paper has reserched and realized a embedded industry network controller based on ARM and LINUX,realized direct connection between traditional industry equipments and Internet/Intranet, realized interconnetion between field bus network and corporation information Intranet, enhanced informational degree of corporation.The embedded industry network controller was constituted by hardware system and software system, choosed YuanFeng's S3C2440 core board for the core of the hardware system. Based on the S3C2440, extend a ethernet interface, two RS-232 interfaces, two RS-485 interfaces, two CAN-BUS interfaces, a 3X4 keyboard, a 800X480 TFT LCD interface and a touch screen interface.Choosed LINUX OS for the core of the software system, wrote the device drivers, provide friendly interface for the application program; porting embedded database for saving industry data; porting embedded Web server and wrote CGI program to realized remote monitor and control by dynamic web page; porting MiniGUI system and designed Man-Machine interface.On the basis of finishing the industry embedded network controller hardware and software design, applied the controller to Key Breakthrough Project in Key Field of Guangzhou-HongKong, realized digital welder control by network. It had realized network interconnetion between field bus network and corporation information Intranet, and realized remote monitor and control.
