Research And Realization Of Embedded Web Server Based On Ethernet

With the development of embedded system and the popularization of Internet, more and more embedded network system will use Web Server. Ethernet has become the main way of the embedded Web Server entering network because of its high speed and low price. Therefore, the realization of embedded Web Server based on Ethernet has great practical significance.In this thesis, the embedded Web Server is carried out based on normal 8-bit microprocessor directly. With the help of it, controlled equipments can access Internet, and customer can monitor and control the equipment through Internet Explorer browser. Its characteristics are to be developed Common Gateway Interface in the embedded Web Server which completes the web publishing functions, and achieves the dynamic interaction with the client. Thereby, it needn't the support of the operating system.Firstly, according to the characteristics of embedded devices, the system architecture of the embedded Web Server is designed in this thesis. The hardware circuit is fabricated and the program is written which based on W78E58B and RTL8019AS. And TCP/IP protocol is reduced rationally so that the embedded TCP/IP is realized based on 8-bit MCU. The protocols include ARP, IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP and HTTP. And then the program is compiled, run and debug by the developing tools in order to test and improve the embedded Web Server. Finally, the application of the embedded Web Server is given in Smart Home System in this paper. The system realizes the function of remote monitoring and controlling of the temperature.And it is turned out that the effect is satisfactory.The system works well, which proves the feasibility and affectivity of carrying out the embedded Web Server based on 8-bit microprocessor, and also shows that the embedded Internet technology accessing control network has broad prospects for application and dissemination values.
