The computer embroidery machine with high performance is becoming more and more popular with the rapid development of Chinese textile industry. In our County, the technology of computer embroidery machine control system has dropped behind the developed country, and high-end products are almost monopolized by foreign products. Compared with foreign advanced computer embroidery machine control systems, our country embroidery machine has differences in the degree of automation, operational humanity extent, efficiency and so on. The paper described in the computer embroidery machine control system in this paper makes improvement in the above areas, and reduces the differences between advanced computer embroidery machine control systems.The control system of industry computer embroidery machine can realize the following functions: Both touch screen operate and lcd display; favorable human machine interface which realizes primary control import and embroidery state output; big storage U disk which realizes exchange the design data between internal and external storage; The real-time communication with drive circuit. The rate control of main axis servomotor rotation and rotation rate can be adjusted and fixuped according to given control rotation rate. The position control of embroidery frame motor, and the control impulse can be sent out to X and Y-axis stepper motor according to the calculation of position information in soft, X and Y stepper motor can complete shift during the time slot of two pins. Exchanging color motor can be located precisely and can complete Exchanging colour normally. Broken line can be detected and warning can be given. Ultra-frame can be controlled by limit switch; Machine fault recognition function and so on.On the base of analyzing work principle of computer embroidery machine with the function demand and new technology in current embedded field, solving scheme of industry computer embroidery machine control system is given in this paper based on soft and hardware platform of ARM & Linux & MiniGUI.In the design of hardware, adopts Main ARM chip S3C2410 of Samsung Company as main processor, and extends functional module of USB HOST, LCD interface, touch screen interface, UART interface, FLASH and so on, and also simplified peripheral circuit because of powerful function and ample interface resource of S3C2410. According to the parallel work-flow of CPLD, reduces workload of ARM and improves stability and anti-interference of system.In the design of software, embedded Linux Operating System are transplanted to S3C2410 as software platform of the system which makes programming standardization, modularization and offers facility for extend and upgrate meanwhile, this also supply possibility for one procedure running at different processor. Using MiniGUI as graphical support system of control system of industry computer embroidery machine, sightly and convenient operation human interface is developed, development cycle is shortened, procedural exploitation hardness is reduced, code designability and versatility is boosted and debugging attendance becomes convenient.
