Design And Implementation Of An Intelligent Embroidery Machine's Controller Based On ARM And DSP

The intelligent embroidery machine is the most advanced embroidery machine, it is widely used in embroidery industry.The intellignet machines made in our country are mainly focused on low grade or medium grade products.However,with the fast development of the electric and the computer technology,the customer have the increasing request for top grade ones.The intelligent embroidery machine's work principle is detailedly analyzed in this paper,and with the function request of the machine and the most new technology in the embedded field,the control system's platform based on ARM and DSP is designed,the main work and contributions of dissertation are summarized as follows:Firstly,the whole system solution and specific experimental solutions were proposed and the structure of separation of information processing and mechanical control was developed.Secondly,the main control module based on Samsung S3C2410X was designed,the peripherally circuits of FLASH,SDRAM,USB,Ethernet,UART port,LCD Touch Screen display were designed too.Thirdly,the electromechanical control module based on TI TMS320LF2407A was developed to control the taboret motor and the spindle motor.Fourthly,the communication module based on a dual-port RAM chip (CY7C027) was designed.High speed data transfer between ARM and DSP was realized by using it.Fifthly,ARM and Linux cross compile environment in which CCS can work was developed by using virtual PC technology in order to save resources.Finally,the DST pattern format files were analyzed and the decodeing scheme was implemented as well.A friendly graphic user interface was realized by using MiniGUI and DSP implementation for SVPWM was simply introduced.
