The submarine camber is the airtight space where people, Weaponry and equipment accumulate. Along with the new power using the atmospheric pollution has become one of the most important effects on endurance of submarine. Since 1962 The US has put livability which was the last one to first place from the power, weaponry and observation. The index of livability primary refers to the quality of atmosphere. To improve submarine's livability must take the measure to carry on the purification and the management to the atmosphere. Simultaneously because the submarine camber has the characteristics of space limitedly and airtight and so on, especially under the battles condition, the submarine navigates submarine in the long time and cannot float the water surface to discharge the pollutant air and emissions.Nowadays our country's submarine has the following shortcomings and the malpractices: The dispersion of atmospheric environment analyzers, filters and intelligent temperate humidity sensors' arrangement does not favor operators' management and the control; The alarm system is not centralized. And the instruments after breaking down or gas density exceeding the allowable figure cannot reflect information promptly to operators, which laid down the hidden danger; Not carrying on the management and the memory to data that does not favor the operators to analyze instrument working rule and the atmospheric density to the time and be not in favor of instrument debugging and data analysis. In order to guarantee battle efficiency of the submarine and the combatants, the safety of submarine combatants and the endurance ability of submarine, the urgent affairs of our country's submarine roboticized development is to realize central monitoring and management of atmospheric environment in the submarine interior based on the CAN-bus, increase the central displaying function of data, breakdown warning function, the management, memory and upload function of data.This paper first expatiate the submarine atmospheric monitoring system's primary mission, the functional module, the overall design scheme and the requirement to software and hardware. The central monitoring system on atmospheric environment is constructed based on field CAN-bus. The aim is to realize communication between each atmospheric analyzer and computer based on the CAN-bus, construct the hardware system through selecting appropriate component, then develop special-purpose software system to realize the functions of data acquisition, data storage, data processing, data and instrument running status demonstration, failure detection as well as real-time warning.The hardware is the foundation and core component of monitoring system. The task designed some important hardware in premise of realizing all functions and in line with the low cost principle. Considering the system construction cost, the development cycle, as well as system's practical work environmental, the system used reinforced computer to realize the central display unit. In order to realize the central display and management of filters as well as considering equipment continuous nature and updating equipment cost and the development cycle, designed the special filter information acquisition unit to complete information acquisition. For convenience of signal gathering, manifesting the design concept of taking the camber as unit to realize information acquisition, simultaneously considering the wiring convenience and art, developed the bus concentrator to optimize the bus topology.The atmosphere monitoring system was constructed based on the CAN-bus, with CAN2.0B as the rock-bottom protocol. Because the monitoring system was not complex CAN-bus net, the paper used the iCAN as high-level protocol, realized the CAN-bus message assignment, data gathering and the control of sensors under the iCAN protocol.The development of software system manifested the superiority of monitoring system and it was developed by LABview. The database system was developed by ACCESS database. Then used the modular design idea to realize monitoring system's all functions. Finally tested, improved and optimized monitoring system to satisfy the forces' requirement.
