Network reading is a new reading form brought about by the changes of text. With the development of daily life and the internet, network reading shows a strong vitality, becoming an important part of learning and life in high school. It shows that students under the age of 18 have become an important part of the network reading crowd. The network reading has open, rich and interactive features. On the one hand, it provides massive amount of reading resources for high school students; on the other hand, it has various disadvantages and hidden dangers. Reasonable network reading can train good moral character and human feelings of high school students. Extensive resources of network reading can not only promote students to understand, love mother tongue and raise sentiment, but also nurture our students to develop information literacy and independent learning good habits. Opening network reading environment conduce to develop students'reading innovation, and promote the formation of personality reading ability.The paper do research in a high school in Hefei (the school has good hardware conditions and the student can surf the internet easily). Through questionnaires and interviews survey, six aspects of actual situation of network reading in the high school are gained. 1. the attitude to the network reading of high school students; 2. the choose of reading content; 3. the network reading methods and state; 4. the perceive and attitudes on the language; 5. the impact on Chinese learning; 6. parents and teachers'attitude to the network reading. According to the survey findings, analysis and discussion, the paper summarize related issues, deeply analyses the main causes of the problem existed in the network reading. Finally, in accordance with the actual situation of the survey, the relevant recommendations will be bring forward to promote the healthy development of the network reading, so that the teachers, parents and relevant education departments can strengthen the guidance of network reading for high school students.
