Design And Implementation Of DW-OLAP System

To meet the needs and habits of domestic users, and enable all levels of management and decision-making personnel to obtain effective and consistent decision-support information from a great deal of history data, the data warehouse-OLAP (DW-OLAP) system is developed and implemented. This paper introduces the domestic and foreign research tendency and technologies system related. Based on the research background of power equipments, the requirement analyses of system are made, the subject field of data warehouse is divided, logical model design and physical model design for the warehouse are made, and data warehouse constructing is implemented. Then the design and analysis of OLAP system are made using UML (Unified Modeling Language), static models and the dynamic models are made. Finally the programs of the system function modules and user interfaces are realized.
