The reports are concerned with the political, economic, military, social and cultural areas of China. This paper will analyze the typical topics of these China-related reports, furthermore, explores the characters of these reports, the trend of these typical topics and the causes of changes.As a rising big country whose economy has been developing rapidly, China has far-reaching impact to the international community. China's"modern, developing and cooperative"image has also been recognized by the international community. The negative reports about China are problems which are being studied, though they are"offshoots"."Arguments and facts"tries hard to describe the truth objectively, attempts to show China's national image which is closest to the reality of Chinese society.This article tries to describe and evaluate the China's image which is showed in weekly "Arguments and facts", in order to give references for studying of Russian media, and then give references for the establishment and perfection of Chinese external dissemination strategy.
