The three-dimension solid models of machine parts can be used to define and to describe the design and machining intension perfectly in the field of manufacturing information technology. With the UniGraphics NX(i.e. UG NX)widely used in many areas in China, there exits many tough problems between the UG normal functions and individually special functions needed by certain enterprises. For example, it is very difficult to solve the problems such as parts standardization, generalization, how to embed the enterprise criterions in UG NX, how to integrate design methodology and peculiar arithmetic to UG kernel, product data management and so on. So, the UG applicaton skill is limited in China because of these puzzles needed to be solved immediately.Based on the research of UG NX customization development solution and the unique design requirements of HongYuan Co., this paper accomplished a set of solution of CAD environment to adapt to China Standard (GB). These customization solutions contained three parts which are three-dimension GB standard parts library, embedding bend allowance formula of HongYuan Co. to UG NX kernel of sheet metal design, UG NX application criterion system according to the HongYuan Co.'s standardization.First of all, this paper analysed the system requirements using UML theory and described the detail system use-case and finished the system sequence diagram, system domain model. The customization development tools used in this paper are UG/Open Grip and GRADE, Parasolid, technique driven by parameters, translation matrixes of solid parts.In the first solution, this paper researched the customization development method of three-dimension GB standard parts library and finished the programme of 4 common functions that were get_file_name, search_md, choose, list_value and 15 standard parts modeling functions. This sub-system is a perfect tools used to design the textile machinery in technique center of HongYuan Co. now.In the second solution, this paper discussed the whole process, theory and program of integrating the enterprise expert formula and bend allowance formula to UG kernel. Now, this sub-systme is the trump of sheet mental design engineers to do their job.In the third solution, this paper discussed how to design and accomplish the UG NX application criterion according to HongYuan Co.'s standardization. It contained the title bars of sole parts and assembly parts according to the China textile machinery standardization, BOM, driving program of plotting queue.To achieve application goal of manufacturing enterprise,this paper provided the solution of computer aided design environment met China Standard in UG NX. The results of this article can be normalized the process of products design and improve the design efficiency. It can be extended to manufacturing enterprises which use UG NX.
