The traditional salary management system usually uses the fixed salary formula and the fixed salary item, it is difficult to adapts that the change of salary's policy and the salary's system under the market economy's condition. The existing salary management system of flexible salary's structure, this can define account, salary item and formula, but the operation is often complex, and it is difficult to use by grass roots.A web-based mini salary management system is designed and realized in this paper. First, this paper analyses the background of project and the structure of salary system briefly. Then, on this basis this paper gives system design with Rational Rose and realizes model of Browser/Server's salary management system with ASP. The salary management system's functions include : management of person and dept's information , these information are basal, set account and item, but also establish the relationship between item and account, set formula for item of salary, set personal income tax formula, and calculate people's salary(including the value of item in accordance with formula, the personal income tax).To facilitate the use of users, set browse , print, to seal the salary's records in a certain time, department and person's salary records' statistic analysis within a certain of time, search the person's salary and other functions. Paper focuses on the function of formula's design and implementation and account of salary. Complicated formula use divide-and-conquer to realize, according to the people's account, system gets the value of salary, and produce the individual salary records at last. Same item may set up different formula in different account, therefore, the system is flexible, and that this mechanism can increase efficiency.The system in this paper describe, has passed through the comprehensive test, already put in the actual operation, enhanced the customer's working efficiency effectively, has obtained obvious economic efficiency.
