The Research And Design Of Real Time Database Based On OPC

In today's information world the theory and technology of database are developing rapidly and its application is expanding widely .However with the development of industry control fields and the application which has a strict demand on timing , the application of database is shifting from traditional field to new field and real-time database also come into being .The new application has a combined needs for database and real-time handing .It not only need database to support the sharing of large data for the maintain accordance but also need real-time handing to support its transaction and data's timer bound .Real-time database technology, a branch and a new direction of database system development, is different from traditional database. Database technology is desired to be employed to solve the problem of data management in real-time system and also to provide the algorithm of the time actuates the dispatcher and resource distribution .OPC is a technology based on Window's OLE ,COM and DCOM , and it provides a standard definition of interfaces to made varied systems communicate with each other and resolve the problem of compatibility of software and hardware .and by complying the OPC technology and real-time database technology we can provide enterprise's production management with strong data platform.This dissertation first makes a brief introduction to OPC technology and real-time database technology, including OPC technology and RTDB's development at home and abroad and their applications, among which points are placed on the norms of OPC technology, OPC interface technology, real-time database system, transaction handing, concurrency control and realize RTDBS key question and application of OPC technology in real-time database.By analyzing the function and applied environment of RTDB ,integrate OPC technology and the popular industrial standard interface ,I proposed architecture and mentality of RTMB based on OPC real-time database .The architecture has three layers: OPC data gathering server , DRTDBS and OPC-DA/HDA interface and the core is the layer of DRTDBS. After discussing the technology of real-time data's the placement, organization, loads exchange and breakdown restoration in RTDB, I modularize the software and design the kernel structure of DRTDBS.Last on the base of description of function of real-time database and system structure, we analyze the architecture of class and establish real-time database by the use of DLL.
