The Design And Implementation Of The Management Information System For Security Duty

With the development of the computer and network technology, people generally use the computer and network to manage and share information, and to improve working efficiency. The Garrison of Beijing takes charge of the security protection of the Army department, chief's house and large-scale activities, etc. For a long time, various kinds of information related to security duty have been failed to include in the effective computer management; therefore, the maintenance and query of them are very difficult and inconvenient. There is no effectual information management software which is suitable to the guarding work, what the Garrison of Beijing use at present all aim at a kind of information, failing to realize the comprehensive management and sharing of information. The maintenance and query of information are relatively difficult. Information management software used today cannot work as a swift, visual, scientific information support for security duty and the utilization efficiency of different resources is relatively low.The design and research of the management information system for security duty is based on further investigation of work flow of the security duty and data flow of different information among them, and careful analysis of various kinds of information materials related to security duty's disposition and implementation. Fully considering the needs of guarding works, the system has drawn lessons from and improved the existing security duty information management style, and has standardized the process of security duty, managing and sharing synthetically various kinds of information related to security duty, and offering a whole information service for security duty. The management level of comprehensive security duty information and working efficiency of guards will be improved greatly after this system comes into operation, and the information level of guarding work will go up to a new stage.The purpose of this subject is to develop a set of management information system for security duty. The main job is to analyze and design the system and to develop software. The major technologies involved include Object Oriented Programming, Database Design and Maintenance and Database Application and Development by ADO.NET+VB.NET. The management information system for security duty is made up of client program and database server, among which client program is responsible for the disposal and calculation of the data and the database server is responsible for the memory and query of them. System development includes two parts mainly: the design of database on server and client program.
