The Design On Railway Maintenance Train Monitoring System Based On GPS/GPRS/GIS Technology

ITS(intelligent traffic systems)is a new technology field that comes into being ,as soon as more electronic technology,communication technology and database technology were applied in traffic control .The design aim at railway maintaining-train ,using GPS/GPRS/GIS technology ,work out a Monitoring system that applies to 08-32 model Maintenance train .The design start from the actual situation of the train's speedup to think the complication carefully about human ,trains and roads. Then it comes up with many situations in order to strengthen the quality of the railway's Maintenance.In order to put theory into practice, the author researches many theories and applications of ITS and Monitoring system, and word out a detail design project . The system is consisted of train terminal system, supervising terminal system and communication server system .When the maintenance train work, the data is sending to the monitoring center by the communication service. While the maintenance train is hijacked, the monitoring system can send the help signal to the supervising center. According to the help signal, users can dispose the situation on time. In addition to these the author draw out a new solution based on software technology to improve the performance of the monitoring system .The monitoring system of railway maintenance train which is based on the GPS ,GPRS and GIS technology can produces a method to enhance the maintenance-train's management and the ability of maintenance-train's safe . The system has experienced practical test and achieve expectant result.
