The equipments installed in railway field are the fundamental guarantee of train safe operation.Poor maintenance of equipments may cause train delays even cause accidents.The traditional maintenance log management is: Manually fill maintenance log on the card which locked in the box of the equipment.It is hard to ensure credibility of the records and is difficault to supervise the equipment maintenance work by quering and analyzing the records because of the large number and remote installation position of the equipments.In this paper, the intelligent and networked maintenance log management system is designed based on the actual applications requirement and RFID technology.By collecting equipment maintenance start time and end time to provide maintenance records online inquires and real-time surveillance. System design and implementation in the paper mainly includes the following work.Firstly, put forward the target of design, the whole system structure, software structure, hardware structure and main technical indicators of the system based on the analysis of practical needs. The feasibility of the whole system design also ananlyzed.Secondly, on account of ISO/IEC 14443A standard agreement, the railway maintenance log system based on RFID technology is designed, the design is including hardware circuit of record pen, staff card, equipment card and including main pins wiring of the chips.The encapsulation structure of cards is also explained.Finally, the railway maintenance log management system is designed and implemented.The clock of record pen is realized by software.The process of maintenance records acquisition, storage, uploading and show of the maintenance log are displayed by an example of getting five maintenance records from two sttaf maintaining four sets of equipment.The development environments of the design are introduced and the insufficiency of this system is analyzed. In addition to looking into the prospect of the system research, proposed farther application of the system at the end of the paper.
