| More and more Business Intelligence company have come to China and provide their solution & products since 2003. BI has developed rapidly in Telecom, Finance & Insurance industry. But manufacturing industry didn't use BI well.This paper analyzes the system status of manufacturing industry first and we know that they need effective information urgently. Then we study the technology & tools of business intelligence for providing manufacturing industry solution. We suggest manufacturing industry to pay more attention to their products and find way to save cost.After analyzing most popular BI software, we suggest to set up data warehouse by below modules; sales, inventory, purchase, manufacturing & finance. Then we discuss how to get data from other system by tools, how to analyze data or do data mining.Based on this theory, we give an example that one company implement BI system. We stress how to build Total Cost Management Module. In the end, some suppose & views are provided. |
