Here comes a question to each manager:how to improve the overall power of decision-making and the company’s competitiveness regarding of those huge and growing business data which are been managed not to just keep business.This thesis explains by the IBM Cognos business intelligence platform, the whole development process of the system which collects the data from other system, pre-processes and ETL the data, establishes database using OLAP, reports and analyzes based on adequate research of DW (Data Warehouse), business intelligence and part of the data mining technology. I emphasis on the gross margin, purchasing stranded quality and stock market circulation, which are the most concern of the household appliance sales companies. I also put the clustering analysis of the data mining technology into the analysis.It will be more reliable and efficient for the company to make decision by establishing such a business intelligent platform to fully analyze operational data. It will also ensures the success of the enterprise.
