Business Intelligence is the use of modern information technology to collect,manage and analyze structured and unstructured business data and information toimprove business decision-making, and improve various business processes to enhanceall aspects of business performance, and enhance wisdom and ability of thecomprehensive competitiveness. In the process of the growth of the manufacturingenterprise, should have two important abilities: clear now, insight into the future. Andboth ability acquisition needs the help of business intelligence, through the establishmentof enterprise business intelligence, and improve the core competitiveness of enterprise, isthe inevitable trend of enterprise informationization development.Due to the limitation of traditional business systems, manufacturing enterprisesexisting information systems often do not have access to a global view, enterpriseinformation can’t meet the demand of data analysis, research and mining, etc. In thispaper, on the premise of manufacturing enterprise business demand and puts forward thesolution and application of business intelligence implementation project. First,this paperstudies the basic principle of data warehouse and its relationship with BI,and thencreates a data warehouse with the theme of manufacturing、inventory and sales based onthe SQL Server2008BI platform.OLAM has been a hot research which study on how to combine and organicallyintegrate the advantages of both on-line analytical processing and data mining. Thispaper uses customer data which in sales cube as a data source. In view of the enterprisetarget customer demand, through comparison of four kinds of data mining algorithmmodel and found that decision tree has better flexibility and effectiveness of theclassification model, the model used to predict the target customer group.
