Insurance industry business intelligence systems can be used to build enterprise data warehouses, master data view, the establishment of analysis and decision support systems. The rapid development of enterprises provide an important impetus to improve business productivity, core competence. This construction of the insurance industry for the current difficulties and problems in business intelligence, combined with a large insurance company in the business intelligence project description and analysis of the insurance industry in the design and implementation of business intelligence.This thesis analyzes the business intelligence applications in the insurance industry, insurance industry's business characteristics and problems, summed up the business intelligence needs of the insurance industry. The overall structure of the system by,ETL,data warehouse modeling techniques described in detail the corresponding realization of the theoretical design and specific application. For the insurance industry's own characteristics and the key to building business intelligence systems technology to enterprise business intelligence as an important component of IT architecture. Through thesis in the design and implementation, the success of the construction of a large insurance company's business intelligence system is operating well and achieved the expected results.
