Research And Development On Inventory Management System Based On RFID Technology For BXN Co., Ltd

Based on the research analysis of inventory management and the application status of RFID technology in manufacture enterprises, this thesis mainly researches how to establish a RFID based inventory management system in BXN Co., Ltd., according to some key technologies of RFID system and inventory management and combined with the Key project of Zhejiang Province- 'the Supply Chain Management Based on RFID Technology and the Development of RFID-Based Application Systems' . Based on the research results, the thesis provides the design and implementation procession of the project. In conclusion, the thesis aims to provide theoretical and methodological guidance for the development of RFID based inventory management system.On the basis of introducing some principle conception and some advanced theory and technique in inventory management and RFID, chapter 1 summarizes the research status of inventory management and RFID application systems, then points out the problems that exist in the normal inventory management system and the advantages of the application of RFID technology in inventory management. According to these, the objective of the thesis is pointed out, and the research frame is presented.Chapter 2, after the problem of inventory in BXN Co., Ltd. is analyzed, the basic framework of RFID application system is presented, which is supported by the theory of four-layer-RFID-structure. Furthermore, this thesis gives out the new conception of 'RFID-Applicated' inventory management system and warehouse. After that, some key problems in the basic frame are discussed, including RFID middleware, Object Name Service, EPC-Information Service (in Physical Material Language) and the RFID network structure.Based on the analysis on Chapter 2, Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 discuss what the system functions are and how to design and implement them. Chapter 3, Firstly, this thesis analyzes the requirement of the RFID based inventory management software in cooperative inventory management of warehouses in BXN Co., Ltd. , single warehouse management and RFID basic frame management. Secondly, the total frame of the system is provided. At last, the total functions and database of system are designed and the interfaces are decided.Chapter 4 analyzes some problems that exist in the process of cooperative management. After these, this chapter mainly researches some key problems that exist in cooperative inventory management of warehouses in BXN Co., Ltd., single warehouse management and RFID basic framework management, including total inventory adjust, warehouse material selection, and RFID basic framework realization.Chapter 5 provides some running examples. These examples testify that the research results in the thesis are valuable, feasible and practical. Because of the limit of length, it only introduces some key function modules.In chapter 6, all achievements of the thesis are summarized and the future research work is sketched out.
