Research On AS/RS Information Management System Base On RFID

With speed-up of universal economy and globalization process, the conception of Logistic has been widely used in domain of circulation and manufacture and society economy field. It played an more and more important role in enterprise competition. Automated High-rise Warehouse (AS/RS), which is a key part of the whole process of logistic has been focused in recent years. Nowadays, Although some corporations realize partial integration of information, but process can not be operated without paper and can not assure veracity and real time of the collected data. So It is urgent required to adopt a new information identify technology to enhance the efficiency of warehouse management, make it possible to master the whole Warehouse in real time. Radio Frequency Identification, as a fast real-time, accurate information collection and processing technology, has been remarked as one of the most ten important technology in the 21 st century.An AS/RS Information Management System based on the Radio Frequency Identification is developed according to the market investigation and study. The system implements automation of en-warehouse and ex-warehouse and the function of deposit and query based on RFID technology, which will be convenient for manager to stat and in control of material flowage. The management of AS enhance to be more automatable and intelligent.First, it analyzes current development situation of RFID technique and AS technique in the worldwide area. some research based on RFID has been made on Automated High-rise Warehouse. RFID is made use to replace the traditional bar code technology to collection system information. It can make manage warehouse intelligent. Based on the specialty and need of RFID system, Holistic frame of the Automated High-rise Warehouse in the distributing mode is schemed out. Then the keystone of the paper which is design and development of Warehouse in the layer of administer is emphasized. A warehouse management system based on RFID technique has been designed including three sections: Auto Identification System, RFID Middleware and Application Software.Communication protocol of the computer and RFID reader is studied. Then a simple and usable user-defined serial communication program is designed and coded according the special demand of system to implement communication between the computer and RFID reader. It is also the key of the Auto Identification System.This paper discusses definition, character, function and infrastructure of RFID middleware and constructs the model of the AS Information Management System. Then design and realize a RFID middleware system to implement the function of filtrating data and communicating with applications, which are provided to improve the system ingenuity.Finally this paper selects a book storage system based on warehouse as a case to analyze and design .The design principles and goal, procedure chart of the system and its detail module function and database exploitation are given and a necessary analysis is made. Then the Information Management System is developed based on the above frame especially for the Auto Identification System and Application Software.
