Research On The Measurement System For The Characteristic Parameters Of Microchannel Plate

Microchannel Plate (MCP) is a type of electron multiplier. Themeasurement on the characteristic parameters of the MCP is a fundamentalmethod to characterize the quality of the MCP, it is very important for theinvestigation on MCP and its application whether these parameters arecorrectly measured. The investigation on the measurement system for thecharacteristic parameters of MCP is one of the main part for the investigationon MCP.In this paper, we provided a measurement system for thecharacteristic parameters of MCP which controlled by a computer and made ageneral design on the system. According to the theoretical analysis anddetailed reason, we gave a method to improve the measurement accuracy andthe ability to prevent interference, we also made some experiments on thesestudy.This system has the following qualities such as stable display, strongability to prevent interference, high measure accuracy and easy to be operate,this system also has the functions such as real-time display, quality analysis,print and save.
