In order to research the forward fundamental channel of CDMA2000-1X system, analyze and compare the performances of three radio configurations defined by the physical layer standards, the channel models are established under Matlab/Simulink. The article discusses the designs and preferences of several key modules in detail, such as convolution, interleaving, spread spectrum, modulation and so on. At last, the analysis of simulation results about two kinds of error rate, the phase of modulated signals, and spectrums can clearly show that the forward fundamental channel of CDMA2000-1X system has excellent performances, and it has different characteristics in three radio configurations. The research of modeling and simulation provide important references.Besides that, do deep researches on positioning technologyies and location services. For CDMA2000-1X the 3rd generation mobile communication network constructed by China Unicom, designing the hardware and software of the mobile equipment, which can measure its position using GpsOne positioning technology. Some tests about functions and services of the mobile equipment have done, such as voice service, short massage service and so on. The most important one is positioning test. Indicated by this test,the best accuracy of this mobile equipment is less than 5m. At last, one mobile location service is presented for this mobile equipment. This service coming true demonstrates that this mobile equipment has strong practicability and high sensitivity.
