Wireless Meter Reading System Based On Network

For a long time, how to read meters' data is a question that the government wants to solve quickly. Automatic meter reading system is very important because it's the original data. The data which is exact and timely is very important. Manual meter reading monthly maybe enough for individual, but it's not enough for government analyze and decision. So developing an automatic reading system is very necessary. This article developed a wireless meter reading system based on network. Main work is as below.1) For the moment, automatic meter reading system based on wireless RF chip all use one jump communication. For its limited send power, the covered area is very limited so that there are many blind spot. This article is based on multi-jump communication and spread the covered area via relays.2) Put forward three meter reading plans, and analyze each advantage and disadvantage.3) Developed the whole system's hardware and software. Making some test to compare three plans' real performance.
