Study And Construction Of Network-based Virtual Laboratory

In recent years, with the development of virtual technology and network technology, it's possible to construct a virtual laboratory on Internet. Virtual laboratory is an important aspect in distance education. At the same time, development of the virtual laboratory is an important part of the virtual education environment in high school 'information campus'. In this paper, on the basis of analyzing the research status of virtual laboratory at home and abroad and the virtual instrument development technology, the virtual instrument technology, database technology and network technology are applied in the development of virtual laboratory, the network-based virtual laboratory system is built, which supplies users an opening and networked experiment environment.In this paper, the implementation scheme of the virtual laboratory system is studied, and the frame model of the virtual laboratory is put forward and built. The system applies B/S architecture, so every computer on Internet can access the virtual laboratory. The design of theⅥprogram and its networked technology are studied, taking LabVIEW 7.1 as the software development tool, a series of virtual instrument (Ⅵ) are developed, such as the signal generator,the correlation analyzer, the crosscorrelation analyzer and so on, also theⅥis made as the HTML programming language and then published to support the remote network experiment. A system management platform based on the database is developed, the experiment content,experiment data and information of the laboratory system are managed by the management platform. At the same time, the implement technology of the online communication in the virtual laboratory is studied, the Delphi software is applied to develop an ActiveX Form online communication program, then the program is embedded into the experiment homepage, the socket communication supports the online communication, and it supplies the customers an experiment interactive platform. The ASP plus SQL Server solution is applied in the development of the virtual laboratory website and this solution has the high efficiency and security advantages. Based on the above key technologies of the virtual laboratory and its networked technology, the network-based virtual laboratory prototype system is developed.
