A virtual instrument consists of an industry-standard computer or workstation equipped with powerful application software, modularization hardware such as plug-in boards, and driver software, which together perform the functions of traditional instruments. With the coming of the network era and the continuous improvement of information requirement, the networking virtual instrument emerged as required. It combined the virtual instrument technology with the network communication technology.We can use the networking virtual instrument technology to establish a virtual laboratory and offer a platform for experiment teaching,technical exchange and scientific research. Moreover, the hardware instruments can be shared in the laboratory.Based on researching the existing networking virtual instrument technology, the networking virtual instrument test system was designed and developed. The corresponding software platform was established for the networking virtual instrument test laboratory. Furthermore, the networking of the test and signal analysis was realized in this paper. The three-layer C/S model was adopted and the function division and integration were carried out in this system. The VI server program was finished in LabVIEW. The user client application program was developed. It can offer the operation panel for the user to display and analyze the data. Meanwhile, the equipment client program was also completed, which was used to manage the test equipment and execute the data acquisition request for the users. The results verified that the system has a good running performance. |
