The dissertation introduced the development of the system of supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) for the large-scale air compressors station. The function of air compressors stations is supplying the compressed air to workroom of the factory. The dissertation discussed the method for developing the SCADA system base on the technology of programmable logic controller (PLC), distribute control system (DCS), field control system (FCS) and Ethernet telecommunication for the large-scale air compressors station. The dissertation Mainly researched the design of the topology map of the SCADA system, the design of the local CMC control system of the air compressors, the design of the local control system of the accessorial equipments to the compressors in the system, the design of the program of the telecommunication interface of the system, the design of the real-time database of the system, the design of the program of the load sharing control of the air compressors in the running, the configure of the human machine interface(HMI) to the SCADA control station, the design of safety method of the system, the structure of the historic database and trend of the SCADA system, the design of report forms of the system. The dissertation tested the developed system, and analyzed the running data of system in end. It were concluded that the SCADA system for the large-scale air compressors station had the character of distributed, interrelated, intellectualized and could remarkably shift up the process control ability of the large-scale air compressors station, greatly enhance the reliability of the running air compressors, drastically reduced the consumed power of the large-scale air compressors station.
