The Design And Implementation Of The IVR Service Platform In CNS System

CNS, the Color Notes System, is a powerful info-convertion system provided by Motorola Electronics Company. Multimedia Message Service (MMS) will be greatly stimulated by CNS system because the using of CNS system will weaken the limitation of current MMS terminal devices. The IVR (Interactive Voice Response) service platform is an important module in CNS system and it allows the end users to access the CNS system through voice.There are five chapters in this thesis. The first chapter gives a brief introduction to the background of IVR service platform. Information about MMS service and IVR service, which are two typical mobile telecommunication value-added services, is summarized in Chapter 2. In Chapter 3, we will learn what CNS system is and what the relationship between the IVR service platform and CNS system is.The last two chapters are the main parts of this article that provide the most important design and implementation of IVR service platform. Chapter 4 draws out the system design, from the system requirments to the equipment selection, and then to the framework. The fifth chapter gives out the detailed design and realization in software. In this chapter we will show how the service flow is realized and how the system protection is implemented. Besides that, debugging and testing schemes of the IVR service platform are also illustrated, including the example of some complete test cases and the list of all test cases.The IVR service platform described in this article is based on a mature conception and is now widely used. It can effectively improve the development of mobile telecommunication value-added services.
