In order to adapt to the rapid development of Telecommunication Voice Value-added Services and satisfy the demand of people obtaining information in time and effectively, a Voice Value-added Service Inquire System, which offers dynamic info real-time TTS service, is researched and designed in this project.Firstly, this paper studies the correlative knowledge of the TTS technology systematically, analyses the development process of Voice Value-added Services Integrated Platform, and then discusses the system realization, which is based on the VAS_InfoX Voice Value-added Service Integrated Platform with NGN model and three-layer system architecture. After researching three typical TTS technology solutions, a solution which adapts to this project and offers TTS synthesis process kernel technique, is proposed. Meanwhile, the speech development packet used in this project is researched in detail.Secondly, aiming at the request of the concurrency of the speech synthesis processing and the system running efficiency, the disadvantage of traditional Thread Pool is pointed out. Referring to Leader/Followers model Thread Pool, a Thread Pool mechanism, which can synchronously handle TTS request event effectively and respond the Client request in time, is proposed based on Activer/Sleepers model. And then the paper analyses the initialization mechanism of the model pool, one-to-many adjustment mechanism, the thread pool size adjustment mechanism and the layered architecture which divides the system into the call control and the service process. As to the system software realization, Visual Studio.NET is used as main development tool to design Master Module, Data-base Module, TTS Module and Communicate Module. And the function description, design idea and implement flow of each function module are introduced in detail.Thirdly, the system software is tested, as well as the coordination when different function modules work. Meanwhile, queue scanning interval of Master Module is tested with different parameters and a testing project is written for the Activer/Sleepers Model Thread Pool performance. According to the test result, the system is satisfied to the function design. Moreover, a comparative reasonable scanning time parameter is given.At last, the paper summarizes the chief finished work and points out the parts which need improved in next stage. The research in this project provides great practicability for TTS technology application for Telecommunication Voice Value-added Services. Sending dynamic information through real-time voice will become true one day.
