Construction machinery is the essential construction equipment used in the construction of infrastructural facilities. During the period of China's Tenth Five-year Plan, with the increase of the national investment in the infrastructure field, the construction machinery trade enters into a fast developing stage.Under these circumstances, it is imperative to use information technology to perform the long-distance information interchange for production, management and after-sale services of mechanical equipment. Therefore it is of great practical significance to study the remote monitoring system in construction machinery.Aiming at the development actualities and problems of construction machinery monitoring systems in China and abroad, this thesis brings out the three-layer model of construction machinery monitoring system: Unit controller, machine-used forepart monitoring system and remote monitoring system.And, priority carries out research comparing with develop around remote monitoring system. Have introduced the GPRS network structure and the characteristic first and have worked out the communication agreement monitoring centre and machine-used supervisory control terminal; Make use of "Socket I/O model " TCP/IP-based communication server accomplishing high-performance under platform in Windows that Winsock provides secondly; Have adopt three layers of C/S (server/ customer machine) pattern in Database monitoring centre , have come true more convenient multi-user carry out long-range supervisory control, not only have improved the systematic overall function, and messenger system upkeep and promotion become simpler; Finally, GIS which provides using MapInfo Corporation two developments modules MapX develops customer end software, the very good realization to moved the type project machinery real-time long-distance monitoring and the localization.At present, the center has been experimented with other subsystems and machine-used monitoring system in the laboratory. The result shows that the center has advantages like friendly man-machine conversation interface, convenient debugging and maintenance, high reliability, correct communications, a high communication speed to achieve the requirement of its applications, which also confirms the validity and application value of the present research results.
