With the development of national economy and the basic construction, engineeringmachinery market is becoming more and more prosperous, sales channels are varied,which is the main way of selling mortgage sales. In recent years, due to the slow growth ofthe global economy, the owner of "late repayment" is more and more, that affecting thedevelopment of the construction machinery industry. In order to prevent the mortgage risk,engineering machinery manufacturer and agent will have to turn to the GPS monitoringsystem, which monitoring the use situation of engineering machinery, urging usersrepayment schedule, and avoiding unnecessary losses.Firstly, the composition of the GPS satellite positioning system was investigated inpaper. then, the composition of the GPS monitoring system was determined, it is mainlycomposed of GPS monitoring terminals, GPS global positioning system, GSM mobilecommunication system, data monitoring center, geographic information system, Internetusers information system and so on.By analyzing and comparing of GPS satellite positioning methods, the relativepositioning of the carrier phase measurement method was determined as constructionmachinery GPS position measurement method. Based on the analysis of GSM mobilecommunication system, the combination of SMS and GPRS was determined asengineering GPS data transmission mode. Finally, the ISO7637-2(Electrical disturbanceof electrical transient conduction along supply lines) test was carried out, which verifiesthe reliability and practicability of the GPS positioning terminal system.In order to strengthen engineering machinery mortgage risk control ability, the GPSmonitoring system not only has with the GPS positioning function, also the function ofmonitoring the performance of the engineering machinery was designed in the terminal,which enriching the service function of the system.
