The paper gives the development scheme of corrugated cardboard crosscut machine based on automatic control theory, electromechanical drive control theory and computer application technology, through the research of the control system of corrugated cardboard crosscut machine and combined with the practical background.This system adopted two level control structures; touch screen is responsible for user interface (UI) and the task of order form management. And the lower machine is PLC control system, which is responsible for receiving the working task and debugging instruction from touch screen, controls transducer to finish the working task, inspects the working material and the status of every button and many other functions. For the reason of drawback of DC motor, the system adopted AC frequency conversion speed regulation. The logical circuit diagram of the control system was developed with the PLC and transducer as the main part. For the ideal control result, the math model of control object is established based on the numerous experimental data and the application of electromechanical drive theory, and the model was proved to be true.This paper implements the control algorithm with five conditions according to relation between of the length of cutting paper and the perimeter of rotor, and the implementation of this algorithm is proved to be correct. Through the modification of the algorithm, the precision of cutting paper and follow of cutting speed was approved.Touch screen management software of this system is mainly responsible for the communication of touch screen and lower machine, and the choice of producing mode and manufacture order management for the higher-level users. For the reason of high efficiency and its robustness, the system adopted the thinking of hierarchical structure. The whole system was divided into three layers: physical layer, communication link layer and application layer. This system has been debugged and worked perfectly, and it has met the requirement of the factory. The great characteristics indicate that the system is a modern one.
