This thesis introduced the situation of corrugated cardboard crosscut machine based on automatic control theory, electromechanical drive theory and computer theory. And it gave the development scheme of WHD 2000 type corrugated cardboard crosscut machine, combined with the practical background.This system adopted two level control structures. The upper machine was industrial control computer which was responsible for the user interface and single task management, and the lower machine was single chip computer system which was developed by myself which was responsible for receiving the working task and debugging instruction from the upper machine and was responsible for controlling transducer to finish the working task and inspecting the working material and the status of every button and many other functions. For the reason of drawback of DC motor, the system adopted AC frequency conversion speed regulation. The logical circuit diagram of the control system was developed with the single chip computer and transducer as the main part. For the ideal control result, the math model of control object was established based on the numerous experimental data and the application of electromechanical drive theory, and the model was proved to be true. This thesis implemented the control algorithm with three conditions according to relation between of the length of cutting paper and the perimeter of rotor, and proved the implementation of this algorithm. Through the modification of the algorithm, the precision of cutting paper and follow of cutting speed was approved.The upper machine management software of this system was mainly responsible for the communication of upper machine and lower machine, and the choice of producing mode and manufacture order management for the higher level users. For the reason of high efficiency and its robustness, this system adopted the thinking of hierarchical structure. The whole system was divided into three layer: physical layer, communication link layer and application layer. The communication protocol adopted RS485 protocol.This system has been debugged and worked perfectly, and it has met the requirement of the factory. The hardware of the system offered the whole product line a good basement of intelligent control.
