Research & Application On The Fault Analysis Based On The Data Warehouse And OLAP

With the development of computer technology, imformationization has become a necessary requirement for almost every industry. And people's requirement for obtaining and processing information becomes higher and higher. Traditional operation DataBase can not satisfy the demand of decision analysis yet. As two kinds of important decision-making technologies, more and more people focus on Data WareHouse and OLAP ( OnLine Analytical Processing) .The thesis has realized the decision-making system taking TV fault analysis as subject by using Data WareHouse and OLAP technology. The original system is a certain product information management system. The system is used for recording product fundamental information and product quality inspection information. The directors expect using these history data to analyse product quality, finding fault reason and adjusting related tache. The ultimate target is to realize the change from product information management system to product quality analysis system.The thesis discusses the scheme of product fault analysis system . It also studies how to build Data WareHouse, how to build the OLAP cube, and how to realize the display layer of system. First, the author analyzes the workflow of product information management system, brings forward the scheme of the decision analysis system based on Data WareHouse and OLAP technology and accomplishes the programming of the system. Secondly, according to the requirement of the system, the author tries to build the Data WareHouse model of the product quality analysis, and also realizes the process of data extracting, cleaning and conversion from the original data source to the data warehouse. Thirdly, on the basis of the Data WareHouse, the thesis discusses OLAP analysis model. Multi-dimensional Cube is built and OLAP analysis service layer has accomplished. At last, keeping to the thinking of software project, with the C# language and technology such as ADOMD.NET, MDX, the author completes the diagram analysis . The ante-type system is achieved primarily.In the logic, the framework of the system is composed of analysis display layer, OLAP server layer, data warehouse layer and operation database layer. The transfer of operation data from data source to data warehouse and users' query are the most important parts in the system. The purpose of the research and development of the OLAP Data Analysis System is to build an on-line fault analysis processing system which is supporting view and dynamic multidimensional analysis.
