At present,there are two problems of EMU maintenance decision-making:First,while applying several different information systems, decision-making stuffs could only rely on manpower to integrate information from different systems;Second,a large amount of historical data is accumulated independently in the database system during the process of information system application,and could not be converted into valuable information.In this thesis,data warehouse and OLAP technology is introduced into construction of EMU to build a decision support system,which could integrate data effectively,make use of data sufficiently,display repair parts,maintenance information,fault records and related data to help human to make final decision.In this paper,data organization of all kinds of existing information systems of EMU and business processes is analyzed,at the same time,state analysis of EMU key components,maintenance analysis,failure statistic analysis and maintenance analysis are identified,while combined with multi-dimensional theory,logical multi-dimensional model is designed.During physical models designing process,this paper designs storage structure,dimension tables and fact tables,and discusses the possibilities to optimize the performance of system based on zoning and indexing technology.In this paper,three-mode of data warehouse-OLAP-BI system was adopted to convert data to knowledge.According to the theory of ETL process of data warehouse and OLAP cube,source data is converted to multi-dimensional model,and then converted to data cube structure,and finally displayed through BIEE performance layer with the format of data report and analysis map.Three-tier model of Warehouse builder 10g,OLAP 10g and BIEE development platform is used during the development process.EMU maintenance decision-making system including three parts,data warehouse, OLAP cube and front-end interface of BIEE that are designed by this paper is completed by real data of EMU.The system functions were preliminary tested and performed correct.It will be expected to provide maintenance decision-making stuffs with effective information supporting.
