Research On Inventory Decision Support System Based On Data Warehouse

With the development of economic, the chain retail business developed very quickly, and became the most energy form in business. As an important current assets of enterprise , Inventory has occupied much cash flow. The scientific inventory management can conduce a high velocity of inventory and assets, which can improve the benefit of the enterprise dramatically. The chain supermarket needs dealing with immense data every day .In order to adapt to the fierce market need the aid of the data warehouse, fully utilize data resources of existing magnanimity inside enterprises, excavate out valuable knowledge and law from it, support enterprises to make policy, combine objective and full and accurate data experience and policymaker's own valuable experience effectively together, improve the market competitiveness of enterprises.This study made large supermarket as representation,and combined the spirit of Supply chain management ,based on data warehouse,build an frame of inventory dss to retail enterprise.Acorrding the actual identity of inventory frame,used different inventory decision way. As for technology, DW is a method of storing data and managing resource on the technology of DBMS, This paper study the data warehouse and modelbase. Combining WEB service, the thesis puts forward a scheme that solves the data warehouse in the chain supermarket distributiondecision support, utilize data by using ETL to structure the data warehouse of the system.Based on the building DW, this paper submit a new method to manage inventory that enterprise and vendor manage together,use advance IT technolohy and internet to realize data management method that based on right share.
