Research On Analytical Inventory Management System Based On Data Mining Technology

With the development of economic, inventory management plays an important role in business management, and inventory management costs also occupies most of the cost of enterprise management. how to control inventory management costs effectively and determine a reasonable level of inventory management is a major problem that enterprises face; In addition, after many years' operation, the enterprise's operational inventory management system have accumulated large amounts of data, and there is some valuable information hiding in the data. How to find these valuable knowledge and information is another difficult problem that enterprises face.Based on the situation, this thesis studies around the application of data warehouse and data mining technology in inventory management system. It aims to design an analytical inventory management system oriented to circulating enterprise.At first, the thesis has analyzed the background of the research and summarized the related theories and methods of the thesis. Based on these, the thesis puts forward the concept of analytical inventory management system. The third chapter of the thesis has analyzed analytical inventory management system, include the analysis on system object,user requirement and system function. This chapter also has designs the system's frame. The forth chapter of the thesis has designed the OLAP of the system, include devices of the analysis theme,analysis indexes,dimension and the fact table,the model of multiple dimension, and so on. The fifth chapter of the thesis has set up the BP model in order to forecast the security stocks, and has educated the model and evaluated the forecast result. At last, the author has summarized the work done in the research, and puts forward the aspect in later research.The key point of the thesis is the establishment of data warehouse and the mining of useful information. In aspect of application, the thesis establishes an analyzed inventory management system based on DM technology, and establishes an economic model of inventory level by combined it with BP arithmetic of ANN; in aspect of design, the thesis has made a logic design on key points in the way of model's realization on computer, and it makes the foundation for later application.
