With the rapid development of computer, Internet and electric business, the competition between enterprises has been moved from tangible market to Internet. Human Resource Management System emerged for applying the information technique in enterprise management.Human Resource Management System is an important function of Enterprise Management Platform (EMP). It can improve the management level of enterprises. The purpose of HRMS design is to realize uniform management of human resource information, to supply human resource information for decision-making support, to make users communicating with each other in time and to cooperate with other system easily.During the process of system requirements analysis, meeting discussion is used to catch users' requirements. The use-case diagram is designed according to users' requirements. Communicate with users by use-case drive model and determine the system function module. Then design the system class diagram and determine relation between classes according to use-case diagrams.The B/S structure and J2EE is selected to program and develop the software platform. The Unified Modeling Language (UML) acts as the standard language for analysis system. The Rational Unified Process (RUP) is adopted as development tool to analyze and configure software. The Role Base Access Control (RBAC) is also adopted. And database is Oracle 9i.In this paper, a Human Resource Management System based on Internet/Intranet is proposed by combined the modern theory of human resource management and enterprises' facts. The current status of human resource management is analyzed. The research of HRMS in this paper focus on: organization management module, people management module, application management module, performance management module, salary management module, training management module, bylaw management module and system management module. The purpose of HMRS establish is to consolidate all the information related to human resource management, to form a unified data resource and to help human resource system administrator manage and layout human resource.
