The Research On Service-oriented Network Performance Management Based On Active Network Code

In the current network management system,the performance management is not only a important part but also is the focus of research.The traditional performance management of network looks upon the network equipments as the management objects,but the regular running of the network equipments doesn't mean the regular running of the network services.In the running of network, the user is more care of the state and efficiency of the services.The service-oriented and the active network technology are introduced into the network performance management system and it proposes a oriented-service network performance management architecture model based on active code,which could make users know the running state of the network services.Firstly,referencing the traditional network management system ,it introduces the concept of service-oriented network performance management and proposes the layered architecture design and defines some performance indexes and the thresholds utilizing the layered idea of the Telecommunication Information Networking Architecture and Telecommunication Management Network.Secondly,it arguments the feasibility of the combining the active code technology with the network performance management based on the service-oriented and describes the design ideas and the implement scheme of the active code communication plan.Then it analyses and designs the active code dispensing mechanism in the plan in detail.Designating a pointer field(the active code labeling the different applications) in the active code packet,it dynamically loads the active code on demand through network to complete the kinds of management tasks of the network services.This method also makes for introduction of new service.Finally,it proposes the design of the network performance management and introduces the implement process of the communication among client,nodes and server and of the design of database and charts in detail.Jbuilder2006 is selected as the developing environment to accomplish the plan independence of the system and thus the network management system can run in many plans and has the good transplantable character.
