Application Of Embedded System In Automobile Navigation And Monitor System

Application of embedded system in automobile navigation and monitor system is researched by this paper. The system which integrated with USB camera, GPS receiver and CDMA wireless module based on Intel pxa255 processor and use embedded system for operation system.The background of research is discussed in this paper at first. GPS and embedded GIS technology are general introduced besides that the characteristic of GPS signal and the principle of orientation are analyzed, the design rule of embedded GIS are described in the paper. The paper give a project of system design and particular describe terminal design which include GPS module, voice module, video capture module wireless transmission module and GUI program. The principle of video capture in Linux operation and how to write video capture program are emphasized and application of image compress is analyzed in this paper. The extend design of monitor system is supplied by the end of paper.The research integrated with GPS technology, GIS information process technology, CDMA data communication technology, and embedded system technology implement of GPS automobile navigation and monitor system with function of GPS navigation, video capture and CDMA wireless communication function. It has great value and extensive practical value.
