The Research And Implementation Of The System Software Based On CTV100 DPTV Platform

The Digital Processing TV (DPTV) receives analog TV signal under the analog Ttransmission system and converts it into digital signal. Then the digital signal processed in digital field .At last DPTV converts the digital signal into analog signand display.CTV100 DPTV platform is the 100Hz TV solution provided by STMicroelectroniInc. (ST). OS20 real time operation system is used in the software system. The RTOSmultithreading and multitask, which enhances the ability of real time processing aprovides the platform for abundant user functions. The core of CTV100 is STV231and STV3500: STV2310 can receive all analog TV signals, identify the vidstandard automatically, convert analog signal to digital signal and process the digisignal etc.; STV3500 acts as the supplement of the STV2310, it has a ST20 32-bCPU core inside it, and can receive the digital signal from STV2310 through Dinterface. What's more, STV3500 has many functions, such as up-converter, zoompicture improvement and so on. In addition, STV3500 can be used to provide tfire-new wonderful TV menu because of its own OSD generator and PictuCompositor (mixing four planes).This dissertation introduces system design (software and hardware) of DPTbased-on the CTV100 platform, OS20 embedded operation system, the layer amodule of the system software, the relationship and communication methods amonmodules, and the software flow of power on and normal working. Especially, thpaper introduces the design of front end signal receiving, program auto search asaving, audio function and so on and also introduces the debug methods of the systemDPTV enhances the picture quality, increases the user function, simplifies the Tstructure and decreases the cost, easy to realize intelligent, and also adapt to all kinof video format. During the time when analog TV is transforming to digital TV, DPTwill attract more development in TV industry.
