| CTV100 DPTV platform is a good TV solution which was provided bySTMicroelectronics Inc.(ST) , and this platform represents the technical developingdirection of this field. The main chips of the solution is STV2310 and STV3500:STV2310 can receive all analog TV signals, identify the video standard automatically,convert analog signal to digital signal and process the digital signal;STV3500 has a32-bit CPU core named ST20 inside it , and can receive the digital signal fromSTV2310 through D1 interface. What's more, STV3500 has many functions, such asup-converter, zoom, picture improvement and so on. In addition, its OSD generatormakes it easy to design original, eye-catching menues. The STV software stackarchitecture has been designed to ensure a smooth transition from analog to digital TV.It settles down a stable interface to the chassis core application while being scalabletowards digital TV reception, middleware support,etc.This dissertation introduces the system software design and implementation, thedevelopment of the embedded OS called OS20, the coding of driver modules and thedebug of the whole system. Implement special functions for a certain machine. Designand realize the DUALBOOT work method to update firmware burned in Flash usingUART.This dissertation is engaged in researching and developing TV product based onCTV100 platform and keeps ahead in the country, we have developed the functionalspecimen. Now we are cooperating with a client from Shanghai to develope a kind ofTV based on the platform focusing the Europe market, and the first step has reached,the specimen has been shown at an exhibition in Hongkong. As the result of theaccomplishment of the project, we have accumulated valuable experience in thedesign of TV and have established good relationship with the leading company.
