TV technology has made rapid progress since it was 1st born in1940s. TV image has turned from monochromic to colorful, TVcomponent parts have changed from separated parts to integrated chips.It's definitely that analog TV will be taken over by digital TV. On thecontrary, TV broadcasting and receiving standard can not keep up withthem and still in the state of analog, and especially our country is in theanalog stage. In this stage, Digital Processing TV (hereafter referred to as"DPTV") is invented by mixing digital technology with the nowadaysanalog TV receiver to make great progress on the definition andstabilization of the image while not make changes to the TV broadcastingand receiving standard. DPTV has the capability to receive analog videosignals and then make digital processing, it's the mid-production in thetransition from analog TV to digital TV. DPTV has received considerableattention from all over the world due to its potential large market andhuge economic profit. In China, researches in this field have been donefor several years. It's a question of how to industrializing our researchresult , making out a series of relatives products, exploring domestic andinternational market that had be pay more attention to by the OEMfactories. So we pay more attention to the research and developmentfocused on DPTV productionsThis paper introduces the design and achievement of a DPTV productbased on the CTV100 platform, in which STV3500 is an IntegratedUp-Converter with 32-bit CPU Core with Video Enhancers and BitmapOn-Screen Display, this paper focuses on the hardware design includingschematic diagram design, PCB-layout and EMC and SI analysis. Thefunction of each module and the problems in realization are analyzed indetails. This project has been completed successfully. All its technicalspecifications are aligned with the requirement.
