Business Process Management (BPM) is a theory that has been evolving dramatically and gaining more and more acceptance in the real-world application. BPM not only enables enterprises to achieve business process automation quickly and cheaply and thus gain elevation in efficiency, but also provides support for Business Process Continuous Improvement.This thesis, firstly, introduces the main theories, technologies and methodologies which are related to business process management. Secondly, the key technology and platform that support business process management were studied. Finally, an architecture which supports business process management was designed on which an application system was developed.First, main theories, technology and methodology in business process management were introduced and analyzed.Second, after the studying and analyzing of the theories, technology and methodology in business process management, we designed the summary architecture of the "Driver management and service system based on process management" .Third, under the guidance of the summary architecture, we have studied the core components—the platform of process management, the work flow system and the distributed running environment, and based on which a stereotype system was developed.Forth, based on the analysis of driver service and management model, the hiberarchy of the operation process management platform, the workflow in the operation process and the transfer of the web services by the workflow management system we design the operation process management platform.Fifth, base on the whole frame and operation management system, we design and application the adapter of the web services and the data inosculate.Last, we designed and deployed the "Driver management and service system" guided by the ARIS and based on the process management system.Studies show that the architecture designed in the thesis effectively support business process management in all stages , enable rapid development and deployment of application systems which is distributed , extendible and efficiently integrated IT legacy systems.
