The real time data-base system is the core of the petrochemical company's on line monitoring system. It is used in the production process to do the collecting, saving, monitoring and analyzing automatically. This item is based on lots of real time data information that comes from 24 fittings, so it provides the petrochemical company a fast and efficient inquiring and analyzing tool. With these data information in the real time database, the petrochemical company users can use the application program of the client server to monitor the factory production, such as the dynamic flow, quality control, exception handles and so on. Up to now, most works of the petrochemical company real time data monitoring system have been finished, they are the building of the data collection network, DCS data interface, the data up-transfer, the real time database system building, field configuration, flow chart configuration, WEB issuance and etc. Under the subtle control to the productive activity, the management level and the economy benefit have been improved greatly. A good result comes to us.Firstly, with OPC technique, we build a standard real time database platform, and ensure the advanced control and optimization. Secondly, because of the integration of the real time database system, we can not only integrate the factory control with the management information system, but also integrate the many different control equipments such as DCS and PLC and etc. So the factory manager can get the real time data information that comes from the production process. A perfect platform could be given to the information system, and make the system run efficiently. Thirdly, by monitoring the key data which can affect the process course, we can keep the production process run placidly, decrease the time of the exception fitting stop. By monitoring the process that can affect the use of raw materials and also the use of water, electricity, vapor and wind in the public works, we can save the raw materials and reduce the cost.In conclusion, with this system, we can optimize the production process, improve the product quality, monitor the product cost on line, analyzing the fault and avoid the next fitting exception.
