Supervisory Control Configuration Software is one of the most important components of Industry Supervisory Control System, which is widely used in various fields of modern industrial production. In order to meet the demand of medium and small-sized users in professional fields, and based on the absorbed advantages and characteristics of the supervisory control configuration software which is popular at home and abroad, a method of miniature configuration software is designed in this paper, and the basis functions of the supervisory control system is implemented. This system has some practical significance, for instance, the medium and small-sized enterprises could save cost of purchasing large-scale conservation configuration software.This software is composed of the graphics configuration system and real-time database module. The graphics configuration system which is the human-computer interaction system of the configuration software completes the showing of the scene in the control area and reveals the data detected by the field equipment in real-time. Real-time database module, which is the center of system transaction schedule, keeping dynamic data of the running system and variety of internal information the system required for the normal operation of system services, and has many functions such as data acquisition, graphical display, storage to hard disk, alarm, incident handling, etc.In this paper, the graphics configuration system and real-time database module are designed and implemented. Graphic configuration system is developed on the platform of Visual C++, and the system is constituted by four modules, respectively are interface module, animation link module, expression treatment and trend curve module. The interface generation module completes the creation of elements, setting up the property of elements, variety of editing of elements, etc; Animation link module achieves the relationship between configuration elements and I/O variables of industrial control field; Expression treatment deal with simple script language; Trend curve module completes the display of trend curve. According to the requirements of real-time data processing of configuration software, combining OPC technique and the characteristics of the real-time database the design idea of open real-time database system based OPC is discussed, and use Access database as external storage database to store shared data and memory database to store real-time data. This ensure the real-time performance of system. Through the experimental test, the configuration software implements basic monitoring functions and the operating results are quite well.
