Monitoring Design And Implementation Of Real-time Database Interface In The Configuration Software

The RTDB (Real-time DataBase) is a kind of database system which had strict constraints on delay of the data storage, transmitting, and reading. RTDB is widely used in the fields where there are urgent demands on the functions of database system and the properties of real-time transaction. And there are explicit limitations on data and transactions in the Real-time DBS (DataBase System). Furthermore, the validity of DBS is based not only on the logic result of transactions, but also on its time.Recently, because of the high requirements on the information technology of the electric power enterprises, RTDBS has become one of the most important parts of the power enterprise automation system. Being the most important data resource, real time data not only provide the enterprises decision supports, but also on many other aspects, such as management enhancements, production efficiency, security and stabilization on electricity generating, competition ability, and the integration benefits.The configuration system of monitoring is application software which is used in the automatic industry and process monitor and control. It provides automatic project with the man-machine interface or SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems. Operators can obtain the real time data in the field conveniently and intuitively and the aim of monitor at the real time by using the configuration software of monitoring. Consequently, we can know the operating states timely and find the devices trouble quickly in the field. Thereby, the productivity will be promoted. Now, the configuration software is popular in the electric power enterprises.The designing of the real-time database is the key and the most difficulty part in the configuration software. The paper analyses the requirement of RTDB and the composition of the configuration software. A method of realizing data model and interface using Object-Oriented technology is given. The system structure, distribution mechanism and some system's features is introduced also.The real-time database system contains the real-time database and transaction scheduling system. The real-time database system saves the dynamic data produced in the run of system and the several of interior information needed for the normal run. Transaction scheduling system is affair schedule center, and the aim of transaction scheduling is to ensure real-time credibility of data in the real-time database and the reliability of run for control system. The critical technic of Real-time DBS is how to build and maintain the database system in RAM. According to the requirement of item, we use the encapsulation of Berkeley DB as the RAM DB, and provide the dispatching arithmetic of the RTDB task.The item which the thesis based on has been checked and accepted, the RTDBS satisfies all the requirements of clients.
