Study On Industrial Gas Chromatograph Simulation System Based On LabWindows/CVI

Industrial chromatograph is a kind of precision process analysis apparatus. It can be used to analyze multiple components. Either gas or liquid sample can be analyzed in multiple streams with it. So it has been developed quickly .But handling the industrial chromatograph, setting peak parameters and so on are relatively complex; its analysis condition of fields and the analysis object are different, so the analysis method and the instrument work are different .It requests the users not only to have the chromatograph analysis foundation, also to know well about the instrument chromatographic fractionation, the analysis process and stream structure, the detector characteristic. However the industrial chromatograph is long-term and on-line moving except major failure happening and equipment overhaul. At present the imported industrial chromatograph utilization of capacity is lower in industries of chemical, petroleum, steel and iron. One of reasons is that operators and scientific and technical workers have no condition to be skilled. Therefore, the author has developed simulation for CX8800 industrial chromatograph using LabWindows/CVI.This dissertation to explicate the system contains five chapters. Firstly, in the first and second chapters, it introduces the origin and the significance of topics, the condition of virtual teaching industrial chromatograph studies and realization in domestic and foreign. And It elaborates the virtual instrument structure and the development tendency. Virtual instrument has more advantages than traditional instrument, therefore it is chosen to develop this system. Then the dissertation introduces some back ground knowledge of industrial chromatograph including: the chromatogram theory, the process of chromatogram analysis, characters,catalog and detectors of industrial chromatograph; industrial chromatograph development. In the third chapter, the dissertation introduces the simulator system of chromatograph, including software characters and software design, the development environment, some important data structure and multithread technology. The introduction of chromatograph software system in the fourth chapter is the emphasis of this dissertation.
